The name H\u00e1jenka originated as a diminutive of the noun h\u00e1j. It was a place that was forested and was also in past times a suitable place to live. Probably at the turn of 19. In the 18th and 20th centuries a sawmill was built here and a mining barn was built for the local miner and for forest workers who carried out work related to the extraction of wood and its transportation. That’s why we decided to name our apartments the same, so that this place carries a piece of history.<\/p>\n

Already in 1608, the Hungarian palatine Juraj Turzo agreed with the hereditary richt\u00e1r Martin of Trsten on the clearing of a larger area near the Oravica river. This settlement disappeared around 1659. In 1816, the church superiority of the Spi\u0161 Chapter issued permission for a chapel in honour of St. Anne to be built in Oravice. The chapel was built between 1817 and 1820 and restored in 1864. At present, the local part of H\u00e1jenka is also church-governed under the Chapel of St. Anna in Oravice and also under the Roman Catholic parish of the Holy Trinity in Tvrdo\u0161\u00edn.<\/p>\n
